Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet said, “The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life (i.e. birth) of someone but they are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. When you see them offer the prayer.”

حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا۔ “سورج اور چاند کو کسی کی موت اور زندگی کی وجہ سے گہن نہیں لگتا بلکہ یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں۔ جب تم انھیں دیکھو تو نماز پڑھا کرو”۔
